One Punch Man Workout Challenge Actually Works In Real Life

Isn’t it exciting when something from an anime or movie can be used in the real world. Doing some research and seeing many people that have put in a lot of work and actually have tried it, it looks like the One Punch Man workout challenge really does make you strong.

When we first discovered how Saitama got his strength, anime fans were either face palming or fantasizing of doing those workouts and getting super strength. Although the super strength is not guaranteed (mainly because you are still human) the workout challenge itself has the potential to make you lose your hair and go bald.

When Saitama told Genos of how he got his strength, Genos was really disappointed because the android was expecting some sort of secret formula to ultimate power. There is a reason why Saitama’s workout works both in the real world and in the anime. The answer is very simple but is one of those things that is right under your nose but people believe it to be so high up in the sky.

So lets analyze how the Saitama workout routine really works.

100 Push Ups, 100 Sits Ups 100 Squats And A 10 KM Run

What people don’t seem to understand is that they can get ripped at home without any weights. The problem is discipline. Most people just don’t have the discipline or even the desire for a better body. Saitama’s workout routine builds strength in almost every part of the body.

100 Push Ups

Doing 100 push ups a day builds your chest muscles as well as your biceps and triceps as well as deltoids. Putting more and more pressure on those parts of the arm and chest, helps you build strength. Keep in mind that push ups will only help you gain standard body weight muscle. To take it to the next level you have to use dumbbells and barbells

For a better push up, I recommend you use the perfect push ups to reach more muscles around your back area and collar area.

100 Sit Ups

Looking to burn belly fat, the sit ups is the way to go. Once you do enough sit up, your body will stop burning fat, mainly because it is used to the exercise. If your abs aren’t hurting when you exercise then that means you are doing something wrong. After a number of days of doing abdominal exercises, if you don’t feel the burn that area then that means it is time to do something different. Switch up the ab work out and do something more intense. I recommend Brandon Carter on Youtube for intense ab workouts.

100 Squats

Some people forget to workout their legs. Working out your legs help you find balance. Having that leg strength helps you become more grounded (and not easily knocked off). Squats help you build those thigh muscles, especially for the girls. Most importantly are your lower leg muscles and the tendons that attached to your ankles. You want to spend time strengthening those as well.

10 KM Run

The 10 kilo meter is good cardio to help you lose that water weight. You know that 60% of the body is made of water. However, when you carry extra fat around your body, water is part of the problem. You are not just burning fat but also helping your body lose that extra water that goes with the fact. One of the reasons why some people exercise to death and don’t see their abs is because they have too much water.

Cardio helps get rid of the right amount of water so that you can get those cuts around your body and see those abs. This is why Saitama’s has a lean muscular figure.

One Punch Man Workout Results-The Reason Why It Works

Realistically speaking, Saitama’s workout routine works in the real world (it is basic training after all). It makes fun at the fact that people believe that in order to get strong you have get bitten by a radio active spider or get thrown in a toxic waste or find some kind of power stone that gives you great strength.

The message of the show is that a person can become strong by simply doing the same thing over and over again (as long as it works of course). Remember the old saying…

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results

In this case what we are doing is not insanity. What we are doing to become strong is actually giving us results. In order to master something you need to keep doing it again and again. If you want to become really good at drawing manga, then you need to draw every single day. Follow the 10,000 hour rule. You need to keep drawing until you reach a mastery level.

While the exercise routine was simple, Saitama kept doing it every single day without missing a day until he reached a point where it only took One Punch to defeat his enemies. You don’t need a power stone or to get bitten by a radio active spider to gain strength. You just need to keep doing what works, every single day.

Pick one thing that works and keep doing it. That is the rule.

The reason why most diets and weight loss programs don’t work is because people don’t have the drive to continue to do the work required in order to see results.

Lets face it. Most diet pills and workout programs actually do work…that is, as long as you are willing to do the work require at least one hour a day.

Be persistant and fight through the pain and you will become strong.
