So if you follow conventional gaming history then you have probably heard that Pong by Atari was the first video game that was ever made. A pixelated game of Tennis from 1972. Sorry to say but Pong was not the first video game that was invented. At least the first video game release to the public. All first inventions were never given to the public. Most of the inventions we have today started out as tools for the military.
Many people don’t know this but video games have a long history going back to the first game that was invented in the 1960s, predating Pong. What if I told you that the first video game was made for the military, would you be surprise? In today’s crazy world of conspiracies probably not.
The company behind the invention of the first video was also responsible for the invention of the internet. The internet was also made for the military as a tool during times of war however, it was then given for free to the public. Its not everyday that the military gives away their inventions for free.

In 1958 President Dwight D. Eisenhower created the defense advanced research project agency which would then be named DARPA. He began to pay more attention into technology. Then in 1961 in Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a data program named Processor-1 or PDP-1 was created.A group of their engineering students who called themselves the Hingham Institute
Study Group who were into Space Warfare decided to start working on a video game. Surely, back then it had a different name
Interestingly enough these students were being funded by the Pentagon. You can find this information on warisboring.com
The Pentagon would fund their project and this group of engineers would create the very first space simulation video game ever. It was called, Space War
So PONG was not the first video game that was actually made. PONG was the first commercial video game that was released to the public but no one ever knew about this Space War game.
Back in the 1960s the game Space War became popular on some college campuses. The code to the game was given away for free. This game would inspire a man named Nolan Bushnell who would co-found a company called ATARI. Does that sound familiar.
The ATARI company would then create the game PONG which got the credit of being the very first video game ever made. Like many things in history, the space simulation video game was left in the dark. Very few people know about it. Unless you went to some college in the 1960s in Massachusetts, you probably never saw it.
So it was not ATARI who made the first video game, it was DARPA. Oh and did you know DARPA was also responsible for creating the internet. Sure the internet was given away for free however but there was a good reason behind it.
When the internet was first invented by DARPA, it was called Arpanet or Darpanet. J.C.R Licklider wrote in a memo in 1963 to his colleagues. He describe the concept of the internet as an intergalactic computer network. No one knows for sure but it sounds like the government and people working in the military were already using advance computers and had advance knowledge. This was back in the 1960s.
Some say that it was being introduced to us slowly to reveal and practice a system of control over the people. Of course if it has to do with controlling the people, the government will want to know about it.
Soon DARPA would create the SIMNET. In 1980, that was the first time that a simulation was connected to
a network. Which confirms that the internet was created as a tool for war time.
DARPA is also responsible for our global positioning system (GPS) and the Robot dog that you have probably seen all over Youtube. They also made mechanical insects for surveillance.
We are constantly being lied to about what really happens in history. Even in video game documentaries that you see on Netflix or Youtube, they will still tell you that Pong was the first video game that was ever made but they never mention DARPA. Perhaps is because DARPA is also behind the Lifelog technology that tracks everything you do on Facebook. Perhaps DARPA wants to remain somewhat a secret and not have the whole world know what they are really doing.
When was the last time you heard about DARPA? This is probably the first time. They also want people to play more and more video games. As to why, no one really knows. The point is, the want to slow about this information and continue to make technological innovations without the public knowing.
Remember DARPA created Facebook’s data tracking. Don’t take this from Andy Arts TV, do some research yourself. Do you really think that Facebook was just a social network invented by some bored kid in college.
There are lots of things about the video games industry that no one has told you and I wanted to bring these things to the light because I hate being lied to. For example, one of the reasons why online games like Fortnite are free is because people are more likely to get addicted and spend more money on it. Many video games are created to be like Casinos. It starts out as free but then they make money with all the extra stuff they sell for gameplay or as they call it, “in app purchases.”
I recommend you do some research about DARPA.
