Reading this chapter of Boruto, I was both grossed out and amaze. It was mainly because of what Amado said about the Otsutsuki clan. The more I find out about the Otsutsuki, the disgusting they are to me. Boruto Manga Chapter 46 gave us some new information that creates a bit of a panic for our protagonist. Also, despite of the fact that Amado is giving out all this information to Konoha something tells me he is not completely good. He says that he had joined the Otsutsuki clan to spy on the them however, he could just be looking after himself. I don’t completely buy it. At least not until he does something tangible for Konoha.
Things are heating up in Boruto and we are getting closer and closer into finding out how exactly you can kill these bastards. In chapter 45 of Boruto, Amado forced himself in Konoha, taking Shikadai hostage. Then we have Kashin Koji finding the hideout of Jigen. Kashin Koji’s identity is not revealed but we did learn something about the Otsutsuki clan. They are not human and are more of a parasitic race that have to survive through other.
The Otsutsuki race reminds of Orochimaru in the original Naruto series. Orochimaru always had to survive through someone. It really brings back that horror element that Orochimaru had. I think we all knew from the beginning that the Otsutsuki were never human from the start. However, most of the Kekkei Genkai (blood line limit)originated from them.
Naruto Thinks Kashin Koji Is Jiraiya
During the chapter you might have noticed how Naruto was paying attention to the way that Kashin Koji fights. You know right away that he was thinking of Jiraiya. Even Naruto thinks that Kashin Koji is Jiraiya. The jutsu that he uses are the same that Jiraiya uses.
Kashin Koji was recording the entire fight with Jigen. During the fight, he summoned a swamp and used other frog related jutsus. It was like seeing old Jiraiya once again. If you look at the manga panel on the left, you see how Naruto starts to think of his old master.
“The way that masked guy fights…its like…” Its like who? Go ahead, say it Naruto. Naruto has not met Kashin Koji in person but if he did he would probably break into tears. Naruto was not there when Jiraiya died.
We did find out that Kashin Koji was created to destroy Jigen or better said, the Otsutsuki clan. If he was created then that means Kashin Koji was not born. He is not an organic human. Whoever, created him probably used the image of Jiraiya. Now this is just speculation. Just trying to put the puzzle pieces together. This means that once Kashin Koji’s mission is over then he will probably disappear.
Otsutsuki Clan Are Parasites
So we found out from Amado that the Otsutsuki are a bunch of parasites. They are from another planet. Which we kind of knew after watching Naruto: The Last movie. More importantly is what makes them parasites. The karma.
Spoilers.
Basically the karma is used to turn the marked person into a vessel for the Otsutsuki individual to take over the person’s body. This means that Boruto is in danger as well as Kawaki. The vessel has to be able to withstand the chakra of the Otsutsuki. So karma make the Otsutsuki an immortal race. All they need to find is a host, marked them with their karma and just wait for the karma to take over.
The karma might make Boruto stronger but it is actually killing him. As the manga panel here says, “Boruto’s body will be over written by Momoshiki’s data.” So not only is this group of people really powerful but they are immortal. It looks like in chapter 47 Amado is going to show us how to kill an Otsutsuki.
Boruto Manga Chapter 47 Predictions
If Amado does not tell us who Kashin Koji is then the only other way we will find out is if Naruto meets Kashin Koji. If Nauto meets Kashin in person he will not resist the urge to ask, “are you Jiraiya?” or “do you know a man named Jiraiya?” That is if Kashin Koji survives the fight against Jigen.
In chapter 47 of Boruto, Amado might tell Naruto and the Konoha Ninjas how to kill an Otsutsuki. However, we might not see an Otsutsuki member get killed until many chapters later. Also keep in mind that Amado could be using Konoha as a hiding place. It is in Amado’s best interest to help Konoha since the Otsutsuki will be coming after him since he is a traitor.
Hopefully he also tells the team how to get rid of the karma before its too late. Remember that both Boruto and Kawaki have the karma markings on their bodies. The more they use it, the stronger the karma becomes. Naruto wont allow the karma to take over his son, however, the rest of the village (especially Shikamaru ) wont have a problem letting Kawaki die.
Also, since Amado knows of a specific way to kill an Otsutsuki member, that means that they cannot be killed simply by battle. So then what is Kashin Koji’s plan to defeat Jigen. Perhaps Koji knows how to kill an Otsutsuki member since that is what he was created for.
