New Japanese Prime minister promises higher wages for people working in the anime industry. Everyone who works as animators, manga artist and other jobs in the industry should be expecting a pay raise in the near future if the prime minister gets his laws passed in Japan.
Fumio Kishida says he wants to help people in the anime industry to be able to have humane working environments. As you probably already know, working conditions in Japan for animators are not always the best as well as the pay scale.
A good example of the pay scale in Japan for animators was how Netflix was paying Studio MAPPA bottom rates for animation work.
Apparently, the prime minister is a big fan of Demon Slayer.
Its about time someone steps up to help animators. Japan needs to do something about it because they make billions of dollars from anime so, they cant afford to allow their industry go down the drain like American Entertainment.
